Head of Development, Residential Products

The Company is seeking a Head of Development for Residential Products, with a focus on heat pumps and heating systems. This pivotal role involves strategic, organizational, and operational leadership in the development of the entire residential product range. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of multiple specialized development departments, ensuring the timely and cost-effective implementation of high-quality development projects that meet all relevant standards and legal requirements. A key aspect of the role is the market-oriented transfer of new products into series production, in close collaboration with the production team. The Head of Development will also be instrumental in shaping the future technological direction of the product portfolio, expanding in-house technologies, and participating in fundamental technological decisions. Applicants for the Head of Development position should have a successful engineering degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a preference for additional qualifications. A strong background in the development of complex HVAC systems, particularly with an in-depth understanding of the refrigeration cycle, is essential. The role requires solid experience in leading development departments, project and portfolio management, and a proven track record in change management and the development of both experienced and junior employees.
