Head of Engineering, Supply Chain

The Company is seeking a Head of Engineering for its Supply Chain division. This pivotal role is focused on the software that underpins the physical aspects of the business, including inventory and warehouse management, logistics, and distribution. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical strategy and architecture of these systems, leading a large engineering team, and driving the platformization of supply chain systems to ensure operational data is consistent and reliable across a vast network of devices. The Head of Engineering will also be tasked with bridging the gap between operational practices and software systems, defining engineering processes, and quality metrics, and collaborating with business and operational stakeholders to translate requirements into engineering solutions. Candidates for this role should have a minimum of 10-15 years' of software engineering experience, with a strong background in backend engineering for data-intensive, distributed systems. A deep understanding of supply chain, inventory, warehouse, or logistics software at scale is essential, as is experience in a fintech or regulated industry with a focus on the operational aspects of device management. The role requires a product-minded approach, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of leading and developing large engineering teams.
