Head of Engineering, Field Verification

The Company is seeking a Head of Engineering for Field Verification, a critical role that involves leading the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the field verification platform. This platform is essential for the company's KYC processes, ensuring the authenticity of individuals and businesses on the platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving the platform from a maintenance mode to a phase of deliberate, prioritized development, and will have the opportunity to set the direction for this domain. Key responsibilities include building operational efficiency, delivering a native mobile experience, and ensuring the platform is ready for multi-country expansion. The role also requires close collaboration with product and business units, defining engineering standards, and leading a team of engineers and engineering managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with at least 10 years' of experience, and a proven track record of engineering leadership. They should be capable across backend, web, and mobile disciplines, and have experience in building and scaling platforms. Problem-solving skills, the ability to work with location and geospatial data, and experience in areas such as trip and route optimization, and building for compliance, are highly valued.
