Head of HR

The Company is seeking a Head of HR for the Scotland Region to join their leadership team and play a pivotal role in delivering the people strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the Group People Plan into regional priorities and ensuring a people agenda that aligns with the safe and sustainable delivery of the business strategy. This senior HR leadership role requires a professional with significant experience in a large, unionized, and multi-site environment, and a proven track record in employment law, industrial relations, organizational change, and workforce transformation. The Head of HR will also be accountable for all HR activities in the Scotland region, including employment and industrial relations, and must have a Fellow or Chartered CIPD qualification or equivalent senior professional experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building productive relationships with trade unions and employee representatives, as well as experience in influencing senior stakeholders and operating at an executive leadership level. The role demands a strategic leader who can provide expert guidance, shape organizational design, and ensure the effective delivery of regional priorities. The Head of HR will be a key member of the Scotland Regional Leadership Team, working in close partnership with the Regional Director and senior leaders to drive the region's people priorities and contribute to Group-wide activities and projects.
