Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

The Company is seeking a VP, Chief Medical Officer for its Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for driving and facilitating the strategic goals of the campus and system. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the hospital-based women's and children's organizational programs are of the highest quality and efficiency. The CMO will lead and direct the application of evidence-based and safe clinical practices, and clinical performance improvement activities, and will be a vital part of the senior management team, collaborating in the strategic development and implementation of short- and long-term goals. Applicants must have a Medical Doctorate from an accredited medical school, be licensed to practice in the State of Texas, and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant leadership role. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in pediatric clinical quality, patient safety, performance improvement, and physician engagement initiatives. The CMO will also be responsible for providing administrative leadership in various hospital-based departments and must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. A commitment to the values of the organization, including safety, compassion, personalization, and efficiency, is essential. The CMO will be expected to promote professional growth, support the development of service lines, and ensure the delivery of safe, compassionate, and personalized care to all members of the community.
