About the Role
Locations:
Greater Buffalo, NY Area (On-site - Headquarter location)
Functions:
- Medical Care/Hospital Administration
Known Requirements:
- 5 years experience in Case Management field in a complex acute care setting required
- 2 years of experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity required
- Prior knowledge of federal, state & accreditation guidelines plus financial principals, reimbursement methodologies, coverage issues etc required
- Prior experience of clinical systems, outcome measures & process with various patient information systems, including HEDIS, INTERQUAL, etc required
- Prior experience in a well ran case, care management program, payor issues etc preferred
- Understanding of performance improvement tools & techniques (LEAN) preferred
- Understanding of the patient care process & collaborative care preferred
- Prior experience of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation software etc preferred
- Prior experience in a proactive & positive relationship with physicians preferred
- Experience in working with health payers & payer relationships preferred
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required
- Hold or be eligible to hold a license as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York required
- Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or related health care program preferred
- Certified Case Management Certification (CCM) preferred
