Managing Director

The Company is seeking a Managing Director to be the strategic leader and experienced people manager, shaping the future of the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector. The successful candidate will be the driving force behind the organization's long-term strategy and financial performance, with full P&L responsibility. This role involves safeguarding financial health, ensuring a maximum return on investment, and building on current momentum by structuring the organization, implementing clear processes, and inspiring the internal team. The Managing Director will also serve as the primary local and international ambassador, representing the organization with strong communication skills and expanding the network within the competitive meeting industry. Applicants for the Managing Director position at the company should be adept at managing human and financial resources efficiently, coaching and guiding teams, and maintaining a proactive network of relationships with government, local stakeholders, and industry players. The role requires a candidate with a Master's degree or equivalent, substantial experience in senior management, and a background in the (inter)national hospitality industry or a related competitive sector. While experience in the MICE sector is a strong asset, leadership skills and a strategic, innovative approach are prioritized.
