Associate Vice President, Quality & Operational Excellence

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Quality & Operational Excellence to develop and lead integrated strategies that support quality and operational goals. The role oversees analytics, performance improvement, project management, and systems management, using data and performance measures to guide decisions and improve outcomes. Responsibilities include coordinating organization-wide initiatives, aligning resources with priorities, advancing consistent practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The position also contributes to budget planning, financial oversight, and employee engagement. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience, including team building, strategic planning, performance improvement, and data-informed decision-making. Formal training and experience in industrial engineering or performance improvement are required; experience in an academic medical center and a relevant master’s degree are preferred. Strong critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and process-improvement facilitation skills are essential. Six Sigma certification and experience with statistical analysis tools, SQL, or report development are advantageous.
