Associate Vice President of Manufacturing Operations, Security & Facilities Greater Detroit, MI Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Manufacturing Operations, Security & Facilities to provide strategic leadership across manufacturing, physical security, and facilities at multiple sites. The role oversees production performance, operational standards, safety, compliance, security programs, maintenance, construction, and capital planning. Responsibilities include driving enterprise-wide equipment effectiveness and continuous improvement, managing budgets and operational financial metrics, and developing supervisory training and leadership capability. The executive will also lead cross-functional teams, strengthen business continuity and asset protection, and ensure facilities and operations meet applicable regulatory requirements. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in operations management, engineering, business, criminal justice, facilities management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred. Requirements include 15 or more years of progressive manufacturing experience, including at least 7–8 years in senior multi-site leadership with financial accountability, plus experience in regulated industries and oversight of facilities, maintenance, construction, security, and capital projects. Applicants should bring deep expertise in Lean manufacturing, OEE, root cause analysis, cycle-time improvement, bottleneck reduction, and manufacturing financials. Strong executive leadership, analytical, communication, and team-development skills are essential, along with knowledge of GMP and applicable state regulations; relevant professional certifications are preferred.
