Vice President of Operations, Toy Production

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations for Toy Production to lead its Vietnam operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating and leading multiple functions, including manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and sourcing, to create a high-performing business unit. This role demands a leader who can drive operational excellence, ensure manufacturing capabilities meet cost, quality, and customer expectations, and lead supplier sourcing and performance management with a focus on product and supplier quality. The VP will also be tasked with continuous cost improvement, product cost control, and margin optimization, as well as developing and managing operational budgets, KPIs, and performance targets in line with the company's strategy. Applicants for this senior leadership position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 20 years' product development experience in the toy industry, including at least 10 years in senior management roles. A deep understanding of the toy industry is essential, particularly within a multinational buying office environment. The role requires a candidate who can build and coach a high-performing leadership team, ensure compliance with corporate policies, and act as a senior representative of the business in Vietnam, engaging with government authorities and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving operational and cost improvements, and be adept at partnering with regional and global stakeholders across various business functions.
