Head of Projects, Infrastructure Construction Project Management

The Company is seeking a Head of Projects to lead complex infrastructure construction projects from planning through completion. The role carries full responsibility for budgets, schedules, and on-time delivery, while coordinating internal teams, contractors, construction supervision, quality assurance, and specialist planners. Key duties include managing project controls, assessing risks, addressing deviations, evaluating change orders, and maintaining thorough project documentation. The successful candidate will also ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and construction requirements. Candidates should hold a degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a comparable engineering discipline, and have experience delivering and managing logistics, industrial, or infrastructure projects; railway construction experience is an advantage. Experience leading projects with budgets exceeding €100 million, managing project teams, and applying project management, cost planning, scheduling, change-order, and contract-management practices is required. Strong knowledge of MS Project, ITWO, and SAP, along with excellent written and spoken German and English at C1 level or higher, is expected. Project management certification or Lean Management experience is advantageous, as is practical familiarity with Building Information Modeling.
