Head of Fundraising

The Company is seeking a Head of Fundraising to develop and deliver a new fundraising strategy, grow income, and strengthen fundraising capacity. Working with the Board and senior stakeholders, the role will help set organizational priorities and contribute to the wider direction of the organization. Alongside strategic leadership, the Head of Fundraising will build relationships with high-value funders, grow major donor income, and develop a sustainable pipeline. The role also includes leading and developing a high-performing team and connecting fundraising with the experiences and priorities of patients and staff. Candidates should have significant senior fundraising experience and a proven ability to develop income across multiple streams, including a strong personal record of securing high-value support. They should use data and performance metrics to guide decisions and identify opportunities for growth. Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams is essential, as is confidence working with Boards, Trustees, and senior stakeholders and influencing at a strategic level. The ideal candidate combines strategic perspective with a hands-on approach and strong relationship-building skills.
