Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic leadership, organisational direction, and operational oversight for a purpose-led charity. Reporting to the Board, the CEO will strengthen long-term sustainability, develop funding and partnerships, and lead and support staff and volunteers through change. Responsibilities include ensuring services are safe, effective, and shaped by the needs and lived experience of the people they support; maintaining effective governance and financial controls; and overseeing the organisation’s housing assets. The CEO will also build relationships with funders and community partners and raise the organisation’s profile and influence. Candidates should bring substantial senior or strategic leadership experience in a complex, purpose-led setting, such as charity, housing, health, social care, recovery, or community services. They should demonstrate sound financial judgement, experience developing people and leading change, and the ability to build relationships and create opportunities. A collaborative approach to governance, including constructive engagement with a Board, is essential. The ideal candidate is an inclusive, reflective, and accountable leader who values equity, diversity, and lived experience and is open to challenge and feedback.
