Executive Director, Employer Engagement & Partnerships

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Employer Engagement & Partnerships to develop and lead strategies that connect employers with students and alumni for hiring and experiential learning opportunities. The role builds and manages relationships across corporate, nonprofit, government, and healthcare sectors, creating pathways such as jobs, internships, co-ops, mentoring, and applied projects. The Executive Director coordinates with academic and career services teams to align partnerships with student and program needs, while serving as a key contact for employers and connecting them with relevant internal colleagues. Responsibilities also include analyzing workforce trends, tracking partnership outcomes and performance metrics, advising senior leadership, and supervising staff responsible for employer relations and experiential learning initiatives. Candidates should have at least eight years of progressively responsible experience in business development, strategic partnerships, employer engagement, workforce development, higher education, or a related field, with demonstrated success building partnerships and expanding opportunities. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a master’s degree is preferred. Strong relationship management, business development, communication, negotiation, presentation, and project management skills are essential, along with experience using data and CRM systems to guide decisions. The role also requires the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams, develop strategic initiatives, and foster an inclusive working and learning environment.
