Senior Vice President, Strategy & Innovation

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Strategy and Innovation to lead revenue generation, partnerships, and external programs, and to act for the organization’s president when needed. The role oversees corporate and member relationships, board engagement, industry committees, workforce development, tourism strategy, marketing, communications, and events. Responsibilities include growing sponsorships and membership, supporting board governance, building partnerships across business and public sectors, and representing the organization publicly. The SVP will also manage, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team of five direct reports while advancing economic development initiatives. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in economic development, sustainability, urban planning, business or public administration, economics, or a related field, and have at least 10 years of relevant experience, including five years in senior leadership. Required qualifications include a record of raising revenue through corporate partners, sponsors, or members; experience managing multiple departments and senior staff; board experience; and established relationships with local business, civic, and government leaders. Strong strategic leadership, relationship-building, communication, public-speaking, and collaboration skills are essential. An advanced degree and experience in real estate, energy policy, tourism, events, or workforce development are preferred.
