Head of Accounting

The Company is seeking a Head of Accounting to lead group accounting, reporting, statutory filings, audit coordination, and technical accounting in a growing organization. Responsibilities include managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; overseeing consolidated accounting and reporting across subsidiaries; and leading statutory disclosures and financial statements. The role also involves managing external auditor relationships, resolving complex accounting matters, improving processes and internal controls, and supporting readiness for a potential listing. The successful candidate will build and develop a high-performing accounting team. Candidates should have experience owning statutory disclosure documents, developing or managing an accounting team, and overseeing external audits. Proficiency in Japanese GAAP and fluent Japanese are required; English proficiency is an advantage. Experience at a listed or pre-IPO organization, prior IPO readiness work, and a relevant professional accounting qualification are preferred.
