Vice President of Engineering Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead its engineering organization and set technical direction. The role includes developing managers and teams, translating business priorities into executable plans, and remaining hands-on with architecture and critical technical work. The successful candidate will guide engineering strategy and practices for reliable, secure, scalable systems; strengthen delivery processes; and partner with product, AI, analytics, and executive leaders. Responsibilities also include representing engineering in customer and partner discussions, managing organizational resources, and ensuring security, privacy, and compliance standards are met. Candidates should have 10 or more years of engineering experience, at least three years managing managers, and a strong record of designing and building production systems. Experience leading and scaling engineering teams in a fast-moving technical environment and building B2B SaaS, preferably for enterprise customers, is important. The role requires sound architectural judgment, a strong security mindset, and the ability to build trust and collaborate across technical and business teams. Experience with SOC 2 compliance is expected, while familiarity with logistics, transportation, or other complex operational domains is an advantage.
