Head of Wholesale Banking Chief Operating Officer (COO), Transaction Services Greater Amsterdam, Netherlands Area

The Company is seeking a Head of Transaction Services Operations to set global strategy across Daily Banking, Client Services, and Trade, and translate it into consistent execution across products, regions, and teams. The role leads operational delivery, workforce and capability development, service performance, and transformation, while ensuring regulatory compliance and effective operational risk management. The successful candidate will embed an AI-first approach by partnering with specialists to introduce and develop relevant tools, models, and standards. They will also lead and develop senior managers and serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, coordinating a complex international stakeholder network. Candidates should hold a master’s degree in economics or a comparable field and bring at least 15 years of senior management experience. They need current, in-depth knowledge of the COO agenda and strong expertise in Daily Banking, Client Services, and Trade. The role requires a proven ability to set strategy and deliver it across large, complex, globally distributed operations, alongside a transformation mindset and credibility as an AI adopter. Strong executive leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills are essential, as is an adaptable, constructively critical approach that balances strategy, execution, risk, workforce, and product priorities.
