Vice President of 3PL Operations

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead performance and growth across a multi-site, multi-state third-party logistics network. The role carries full operational and profit-and-loss accountability across warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and value-added services. The executive will improve inventory accuracy, service reliability, safety, labor productivity, cost-to-serve, and employee retention while supporting business growth. Responsibilities also include launching facilities or major customer accounts and developing a strong pipeline of site and regional leaders. Candidates must have at least 10 years of progressive operations leadership in dedicated third-party logistics and five or more years leading multi-site operations through senior managers or regional leaders. They should demonstrate full P&L ownership and success improving service, safety, productivity, costs, and retention, along with working knowledge of warehouse management systems, labor management, KPI scorecards, and continuous improvement. Strong executive communication, hands-on leadership, and experience in food-grade or other highly regulated environments are valued. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent senior-level experience is preferred; Lean, Six Sigma, or engineered labor standards experience is also an asset.
