Head of Technology & Development

The Company is seeking a Head of Technology and Development to lead departmental operations, set priorities, and develop team capabilities. The role includes advancing plant technology, improving technical solutions and production processes, and identifying opportunities to apply new technologies, materials, automation, and robotics. The successful candidate will analyze technical challenges, coordinate improvements, support design and process changes, and monitor their impact. They will also collaborate across production, quality, planning, and project delivery, oversee departmental progress, and prepare technical information to support order execution. Candidates should hold a technical university degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, production engineering, welding, or a related field, and have at least two years of leadership experience in technology or production engineering within the steel structures industry. Experience managing technology in plants with diverse machinery, along with knowledge of modern production technologies and automation, is required. Strong process analysis, improvement, leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills are important, as is the ability to resolve complex workplace issues and take responsibility for results. English proficiency sufficient for technical and business discussions with international suppliers or contractors is also required.
