Head of IT Architecture & Cybersecurity

The Company is seeking a Head of IT Architecture and Cybersecurity to lead technology architecture strategy and cybersecurity operations for a critical infrastructure environment. Responsibilities include overseeing architecture activities, defining reference and domain architectures, maintaining long-term technology roadmaps, and leading architecture reviews. The role also involves managing vendor delivery and system integrations, partnering on technology investment planning, and advising senior leaders on security investments and risk mitigation. The successful candidate will drive cybersecurity compliance and maturity, oversee threat detection and vulnerability management, and lead responses to high-priority incidents across public and private cloud environments. Candidates should have at least seven years of experience across IT architecture and cybersecurity, including three or more years in a leadership role, and relevant experience in aviation or critical infrastructure. A bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field is required, along with a TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification. Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, Essential 8, and SOCI requirements is essential, as is experience governing vendors and ensuring regulatory compliance. Experience with multi-year cloud strategies, technology roadmaps, domain architecture, risk management, and security controls is also required.
