Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer to lead its organization and represent the interests of a diverse healthcare membership. The CEO will work with the board to advance strategic priorities, oversee programs and operations, and serve as the organization’s principal spokesperson. Responsibilities include guiding policy and advocacy efforts, building bipartisan relationships with public officials, and forming consensus among members with varied needs. The CEO will also lead and develop the staff, maintain sound financial and operational stewardship, and strengthen the organization’s role as an educational resource. Candidates should bring progressive senior leadership experience in a healthcare setting, such as a health-related association, hospital, or health system, along with public policy experience and knowledge of healthcare delivery and financing. The role requires strong communication, relationship-building, consensus-building, team leadership, planning, and financial management skills, as well as sound judgment and the ability to navigate complex or changing situations. A bachelor’s degree is required. A master’s degree in health or business administration, or a law degree combined with healthcare experience, is strongly preferred.
