Senior Vice President of Operations, Commercial MEP Contractor

The Company is seeking a senior operations executive to strengthen and scale a commercial mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contracting platform. The role will assess operations across multiple business units, identify root causes of performance issues, and work with local leaders to implement practical improvements. Key responsibilities include building workforce planning systems that align bookings and backlog with technician capacity, standardizing estimating and project management, and reviewing work in progress, forecasts, and job margins. The executive will also establish KPIs and operating rhythms, develop future leaders, improve profitability, and create a repeatable process for integrating acquired businesses. Candidates must have senior-level operations experience within a commercial MEP contractor or construction firm, including leadership across multiple business units or sites. They should bring hands-on knowledge of HVAC and plumbing operations, estimating, forecasting, work-in-progress management, and margins, with experience gained through the trades, field supervision, project management, or operations leadership. A record of growing or turning around a business and earning the trust of operating teams is essential. Experience with acquisitions, platform operations, or commercial service work is an advantage.
