Head of Operations & Business Transformation

The Company is seeking a Head of Operations & Business Transformation to lead a large, multi-site operation and support its next phase of growth. The role is accountable for operational performance, budgets, workforce planning, health and safety, compliance, and quality. The successful candidate will establish performance measures, optimize resources and costs, and lead a transformation roadmap using process improvement, automation, technology, and data-led decision-making. They will develop operational capacity and scalable processes, work closely with cross-functional teams, and build strong management capability and a high-performance culture. Candidates should have significant senior-level experience in operations, warehouse management, or business transformation within a large, high-volume, multi-site organization, including leadership of substantial teams. Strong financial management, workforce planning, health and safety, compliance, and continuous improvement experience are required, along with commercial, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Familiarity with automation, enterprise and warehouse systems, AI, and data analytics is important; knowledge of food safety standards and relevant qualifications is advantageous. A third-level qualification in operations, supply chain, business, or a related discipline is preferred, as are recognized health and safety qualifications.
