Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial operations and provide strategic guidance on performance, operational efficiency, capital management, risk, and long-term planning. The CFO will oversee portfolio financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, reporting, treasury, and internal controls, while partnering with operational leaders to improve profitability and accountability. Responsibilities also include evaluating investments and financing, supporting acquisitions and capital planning, and delivering clear financial reporting to ownership and other stakeholders. The role will modernize financial processes and reporting through standardization, automation, and effective use of existing systems, while building and developing a high-performing finance team. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, and at least 10 years of progressively responsible finance or accounting experience, including senior leadership. Experience managing multifamily property finances or comparable real estate portfolios is required, along with expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, internal controls, and portfolio performance analysis. Applicants should demonstrate success leading finance teams, improving processes, and communicating financial insights to varied audiences, as well as advanced proficiency with financial reporting systems and Microsoft Excel. A CPA or MBA, prior executive finance experience, and familiarity with real estate investments, financing, and property management systems are preferred.
