Chair of the Board of Trustees

The Company is seeking a Chair of the Board of Trustees to lead its board, guide strategic direction, strengthen governance, and champion its charitable mission. Working closely with the Executive Director and fellow trustees, the Chair will support delivery of strategic priorities, encourage effective board and committee engagement, and help ensure high-quality services reach a broad community. The role also involves advocating for the organization, raising its profile, and using professional networks to build support and partnerships. The Chair will advise and support the Executive Director and bring awareness of challenges affecting the arts and cultural sector. Candidates should have proven charity trustee experience, strong strategic leadership skills, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated success in advocacy, public relations, or profile-raising is sought, along with a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Applicants should bring high-level networks across relevant sectors and knowledge of charitable fundraising, including philanthropy, commercial income, or strategic partnerships. Senior leadership experience in the cultural or charity sectors, and expertise in human resources, career progression, or professional development, would be advantageous.
