Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a commercially minded Chief Financial Officer to join its senior leadership team and support the next phase of growth. This hands-on role combines financial control with commercial leadership, partnering with executive leadership and investors to improve performance and deliver the business plan. Responsibilities include strengthening reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management; improving visibility into contract profitability, labour costs, margins, and operational KPIs; and supporting pricing, tenders, renewals, and new business decisions. The CFO will also improve working capital, establish scalable controls and processes, support potential acquisitions and exit preparation, manage external stakeholder relationships, and develop the finance team. Candidates should have CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent senior finance leadership experience in a labour-intensive business services environment, ideally within an entrepreneurial SME and a private-equity-backed business. Strong knowledge of labour economics, contract profitability, pricing, margins, and working capital is required, alongside a hands-on approach to financial control and reporting. Experience supporting growth, mergers and acquisitions, or exit preparation is also expected. Applicants should hold an ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
