Vice President, Controller

The Company is seeking a strategic, hands-on Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting across established insurance business and new operations. Responsibilities include overseeing statutory and GAAP reporting, financial close, internal controls, accounting systems, and regulatory compliance. The Controller will strengthen processes, support strategic initiatives, and develop a small accounting team as the organization grows. This role also involves close collaboration with senior leadership and ownership of the accounting function. Candidates should have 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, deep technical knowledge of life insurance statutory and GAAP accounting, and strong analytical and leadership skills. Experience with annuity products and in a startup or rapidly growing insurance environment is preferred. The ideal candidate is collaborative and commercially minded, able to balance day-to-day execution with broader strategic responsibilities.
