Vice President, Clinical Operations Inflammation Greater San Francisco, CA Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Clinical Operations to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of clinical trials and programs in the inflammation therapeutic area. The role oversees trial delivery, ensuring programs meet timelines, budgets, quality standards, operating procedures, regulatory requirements, and patient-safety expectations. The Vice President will strengthen inspection readiness, advance patient-centered and innovative approaches, and oversee relationships and performance with external research partners and vendors. The position also requires close collaboration with cross-functional development leaders, building a scalable operational infrastructure, and developing an inclusive, high-performing team. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline; an advanced or professional degree is desirable. At least 10 years of clinical drug development experience is required, including complex studies and leadership of global trials using outsourced research partnerships. Applicants should have a record of delivering clinical operations plans and studies on time, within budget, and in compliance, along with knowledge of clinical research regulations across multiple regions. Strong strategic, communication, team-building, and decision-making skills are essential, as is practical experience selecting and managing external research partners.
