Senior Vice President, AI Technical Risk Lead, Data & AI Risk, Risk Management Group

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, AI Technical Risk Lead to provide independent technical risk expertise across its AI ecosystem. The role translates AI risk policies and control objectives into practical expectations for AI platforms, models, agents, and supporting infrastructure, covering areas such as access, data protection, monitoring, resilience, and security. The successful candidate will partner with technology, architecture, and engineering teams, assess emerging AI capabilities, and provide constructive independent challenge to proposed solutions. They will also contribute to regulatory engagement and help evolve AI risk frameworks as technologies and expectations change. Candidates should have significant experience in AI engineering, technology architecture, AI security, machine learning, AI governance, technology risk, or a related field, along with practical experience working with AI/ML systems and complex technology platforms. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Security, or a related discipline is required; advanced qualifications are advantageous. Strong knowledge of AI/ML architectures, foundation models, generative AI, agentic systems, and deployment patterns such as retrieval-augmented generation is expected. Candidates should also understand AI-specific risks, technical controls, and technology and cyber risk principles, and be able to communicate complex concepts clearly, influence stakeholders, and provide pragmatic, independent challenge.
