Associate Vice President, Workers' Compensation Claims

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Workers’ Compensation Claims to lead claims managers and a team of claims professionals. The role combines people leadership with responsibility for the group’s technical and operational strategy, including leading change initiatives and serving as the senior approval point for major-loss claims. The successful candidate will oversee claims operations and guide the handling of complex and litigated cases. They will also manage third-party administrator strategy and key vendor relationships. Candidates should have at least seven years of experience leading workers’ compensation claims teams, including managing other leaders. Strong strategic and change-management capabilities, extensive technical knowledge of workers’ compensation claims, and familiarity with policy wording and regulations are required. Experience with major losses, litigated cases, third-party administrators, and vendor relationships is essential. Adjuster licenses in multiple states are also required.
