Vice President, Controller Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Controller to lead its accounting function across a complex, multi-entity organization. Responsibilities include developing the accounting team and workflows; owning the close, consolidation, and financial reporting; setting technical accounting policies; and leading audits, tax compliance, and internal controls. The role will strengthen financial data and systems, redesign reporting structures, and use automation to improve processes. It will also partner with business leaders to provide reliable financial information for decision-making. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and a CPA credential, or an equivalent international qualification. They should have at least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including three or more years as a Controller or Assistant Controller in a multi-entity organization, and a record of leading audits and improving controls. Strong US GAAP knowledge, hands-on ERP experience, and experience with accounting process redesign, systems implementation, or automation are required. Familiarity with partnership structures is important; media, entertainment, production, advertising, subscription, or live-event accounting experience is preferred. Clear communication, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to develop teams and work effectively in a fast-paced environment are also essential.
