Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational finance function, providing strong financial control, and leading a team to improve reporting and processes. This role involves taking ownership of day-to-day financial activities, leading the production of management accounts, overseeing balance sheet integrity, and managing the year-end audit. The Head of Finance will also be involved in cash flow forecasting, working capital, and treasury reporting, as well as supporting the CEO with financial analysis, business cases, and acquisition activity. Applicants for the Head of Finance position at the company should be fully qualified accountants with significant post-qualification experience in a senior financial control or finance leadership role. The role requires a candidate with a strong technical accounting background, experience in supporting business growth and acquisitions, and the ability to work with senior stakeholders, lenders, and investors. A hands-on, commercially aware approach, and a stable career history with a commitment to previous roles, are essential. The Head of Finance will also be expected to lead and develop a finance team, identify and mitigate financial risks, and continue to improve the finance function's systems, processes, and reporting infrastructure.
