Associate Vice President, Transaction Services

The Company is in search of an AVP for its Transaction Services division. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing multiple teams within the function, providing guidance and leadership, and must have a strong background in the asset management industry and its supporting processes. This role is pivotal for the company, as it requires a self-starter who can thrive in an environment of uncertainty and deadline pressure. The AVP will be responsible for managing project development, collaborating with business and global operations leads, and ensuring the successful delivery of transition and change management projects. A key aspect of the role is the ability to identify and mitigate project risks, as well as to represent global operations in project meetings. Applicants for the AVP position should have a proven track record in trade settlements, trade processing, and a solid understanding of various financial products. The role demands 12-14+ years of experience in staff management and project leadership, with a preference for those who have worked at senior levels in a matrix, cross-cultural environment. Strong communication, influencing, and negotiating skills are essential, as is the ability to coach and mentor team members. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with a strong focus on compliance and the ability to drive process improvements for enhanced service delivery and reduced operational risk. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business discipline is preferred, or equivalent work experience, and proficiency in MS Office applications is required.
