Vice President of Operations Greater Charlotte, NC Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to ensure assigned business operations are efficient and effective. The role oversees service delivery, resource management, and operational performance across a region, with accountability for client satisfaction and retention, financial results, regulatory compliance, purchasing, culinary standards, human resources, and marketing programs. Responsibilities include building strong client and team relationships, developing budgets and forecasts, supporting sales and contract processes, and addressing performance issues. The Vice President also ensures operational responsibilities are carried out effectively and that facilities receive appropriate financial, contractual, food safety, sanitation, and human resources audits. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, along with 12–15 years of upscale food service experience, including at least 10 years in management and five to seven years overseeing multiple units. Experience in hiring, supervision, performance evaluation, and succession planning is required. Applicants should be able to interpret financial and statistical reports, make sound business decisions, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively. Knowledge of HACCP controls and food storage practices, plus strong Microsoft Office skills, is expected; relevant food safety or health certification is an advantage.
