Senior Vice President, Investment Operations Risk & Control
About the Role
Greater Chennai, India Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking an SVP for Investment Operations Risk and Control. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment, design, and implementation of control programs, ensuring adherence to the company's policies, standards, and frameworks. This role involves proactively identifying and driving control enhancements, including automation and standardization, and leading transformation execution activities. The SVP will also be involved in first-line activities for the identification, measurement, and ongoing assessment of key risks and controls, and will work in partnership with process owners to make management decisions that align with the firm's risk appetite. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions within the financial services industry. A strong knowledge of investments, including various financial products and their operations, is essential. The role requires the ability to lead control-related projects, develop and implement strategies for process improvement, and have a comprehensive understanding of the business's risk profiles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in control functions, experience in driving compliance with risk management and compliance policies, and the ability to influence executive audiences. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and the candidate should possess strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
