The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Nursing in the National Cancer Service Line. The successful candidate will serve as the executive nursing leader, providing strategic nursing leadership across the national cancer-care footprint. This role is pivotal in guiding nursing strategy for various cancer-related services, including infusion, navigation, medical oncology, and hematology-oncology. The AVP will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, overseeing clinical quality improvement initiatives, and driving digital health transformation to enhance clinical practice workflows. Additionally, the role involves standardizing and aligning clinical practices, promoting professional governance, and ensuring compliance with nursing standards and regulations. Applicants must have a Master’s degree in nursing, current RN license, and relevant certifications. A minimum of 7 years' clinical nursing experience, with at least 5 years in the assigned specialty population, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical leadership, quality improvement, and change management, with a preference for those with a Doctorate in a related field. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to build clinical partnerships, and a proven track record in data analysis. The AVP will be expected to advance the practice of nursing through the implementation of evidence-based interventions and support the alignment of the service line with the enterprise's evidence-based practice strategy.
