The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Depositary Oversight with a focus on UCITS, AIFs, and other regulated fund structures. The successful candidate will be a senior technical specialist, responsible for leading and enhancing the effectiveness of depositary oversight. This role demands deep expertise in a range of regulatory requirements, including UCITS, AIFMD, Central Bank of Ireland, and ESMA guidance, particularly in the areas of investment restrictions, safekeeping, cash-flow monitoring, and oversight controls. The Managing Director will serve as a senior technical authority, ensuring robust investor protection, regulatory compliance, and the consistent application of oversight standards across different jurisdictions. Key responsibilities for the Managing Director include providing technical leadership for depositary oversight, engaging with clients, senior management, regulators, and cross-functional teams to strengthen the depositary control framework, and leading the development and enhancement of oversight frameworks, policies, and procedures. The role also involves overseeing core depositary duties, leading technical assessments of new funds and product developments, and driving regulatory change management. The ideal candidate will have a strong control mindset, be adept at stakeholder management, and possess the ability to provide independent challenge on complex issues. A degree in a relevant field is required, with professional qualifications being advantageous, and extensive experience in a related role within the funds industry is essential.
