Assistant Vice President, Retail Credit Risk Assurance

The Company is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as an Assistant Vice President in Retail Credit Risk Assurance. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Retail Credit Risk Assurance team, responsible for ensuring that standards, policies, and procedures are continuously assessed and remain fit for purpose. This role involves providing subject-matter expertise, defining review scopes, and delivering assurance activities. The AVP will also be tasked with informing risk and control owners about the effectiveness of controls, proactively monitoring emerging risks, and supporting the delivery of assurance reviews that meet quality standards. Applicants must have extensive knowledge of retail credit risks and controls, with a background in assurance or testing activities, and hold a relevant external financial services qualification. The role requires a clear understanding of retail credit risks within the global financial services industry, the ability to provide leadership and guidance, and excellent communication and influencing skills. The AVP will be expected to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, operate within the risk management framework, and work closely with global internal audit. The position demands a professional with a strong track record of independent decision-making, the ability to manage multiple deliverables, and a commitment to the values of the organization.
