The VP will also be tasked with informing various risk and control owners about the effectiveness of controls, proactively monitoring and identifying emerging risks, and ensuring that assurance reviews meet the required standards of quality and completeness. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and maintaining the independence of the assurance function are also essential aspects of the role.
