The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Equity Research Analyst with a focus on pharmaceuticals. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and delivering research that provides differentiated market insights and actionable ideas. This includes the analysis of market, sector, corporate, and economic data to develop investment theses, as well as the presentation of research views to clients through various channels. The role also involves engaging with internal and external stakeholders to raise awareness of the research and ensure its compliance. The ideal candidate should have the ability to conduct detailed analysis and valuation of companies, proficiency in financial modeling, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceuticals industry. Solid communication skills and the ability to effectively convey research investment recommendations to clients are essential. Applicants for the Associate Vice President, Equity Research Analyst position at the company should possess a science background or have exposure to the pharmaceuticals industry. Familiarity with financial software and databases such as Bloomberg, advanced Excel, and experience in building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients are highly valued. The role requires the ability to own tasks and projects, and a CFA or ACA accreditation is a plus. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate the company's values and mindset, as well as key critical skills such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology. The position is based in London and is deemed a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations.
