Governor (Board-level role)

The Company is seeking Governors to help shape its strategic direction and support its development as a provider of vocational and higher education. Governors work collaboratively with fellow board members and senior leaders, contributing relevant expertise and considering strategic developments. Responsibilities include monitoring organizational and management performance, reviewing the implementation of policies, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The role also supports quality, achievement, participation, and the organization’s impact on learners and the wider community. Candidates should bring strategic leadership experience and a strong interest in education, particularly vocational learning and positive outcomes for young people and local communities. Relevant expertise is sought in education, including higher education or school leadership, or in estates and capital development within large, complex organizations. Governors should be able to contribute their skills effectively, work collaboratively, and engage with strategic oversight and governance.
