Trustee (Board-level role)
About the Role
Greater London, United Kingdom Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a new Trustee to join its Board and help shape the future of its charitable activities. The successful candidate will be part of a highly engaged Board, providing strategic oversight, and ensuring that grant-making decisions are evidence-led, equitable, and have a meaningful impact. The role involves contributing to the charity's governance, and strategic direction, and working closely with the executive team to maximize the organization's impact across the UK. The ideal Trustee will be experienced in grant-making, impact measurement, and supporting diverse and marginalized communities, and will bring a values-driven approach to the role. Applicants for the Trustee position at the company should have a strong background in senior leadership within the charity, foundation, or wider social impact sector. Experience in charity governance, Board-level decision-making, and a commitment to inclusion are essential. While not mandatory, experience in areas such as funding collaborations, safeguarding, fundraising governance, or charity finance would be advantageous. The company is particularly interested in candidates who are currently underrepresented on charity boards, including those from Black, Asian, and minoritized ethnic communities, disabled individuals, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those with lived experience relevant to the charity's work.
