About the Role

The Company is in search of a member for its Supervisory Board with a focus on finance and real estate, who will also serve as the Chair of the Audit Committee. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial and business economics, with experience in large organizations, and a proven track record in strategic and analytical thinking. This role requires expertise in complex financing issues, risk management, and a deep understanding of (social) real estate, particularly in the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial oversight, including the functioning of internal management and control systems, compliance with laws and regulations, and financial disclosure. Additionally, the role involves leading the Audit Committee in its activities related to tax policy, the financing of the organization, and the relationship with external auditors. Applicants for the Supervisory Board position at the company should possess a collaborative and constructive approach, with the ability to engage in open discussions and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. The role demands a high level of independence, a constructively critical attitude, and a commitment to the social mission of the organization. The candidate should be well-versed in the current developments in the VVT sector, the Healthcare Governance Code, and modern forms of supervision. A process-oriented way of thinking and acting, as well as a strong affinity for information provision and ICT in relation to internal control and accountability, are essential. The member will be expected to be an experienced and committed supervisor, with a broad societal network and a sense of regional rootedness, particularly in understanding the decision-making processes within local government and the social domain.
