Area Vice President, Managed Health Payor Contracting

The Company is seeking an Area Vice President for Managed Health Payor Contracting. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of payer contracting strategies across various markets and portfolios. This includes serving as the primary owner of payer relationships, leading negotiations of a wide range of contracts, and ensuring that all contract terms meet the company's financial, operational, and compliance expectations. The role also involves translating market trends and regulatory changes into actionable strategies, as well as leading and developing high-performing teams. Candidates for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in payer contracting or related areas. Strong expertise in payer contracting, reimbursement methodologies, and value-based care models is essential, as is a proven track record in leading complex contract negotiations. The ideal candidate will have experience across various payment models and in large, integrated health systems or multi-entity provider organizations. Advanced financial and analytical capabilities, strong negotiation and relationship management skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels are also required. The role demands a leader who can operate effectively in a complex, matrixed environment and is committed to the company's mission of providing equitable care.
