The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Post-Award Finance to provide strategic leadership and oversight of all post-award financial administration activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining service delivery standards, operational priorities, and compliance with sponsor and institutional policies. This role involves leading and developing a team of professionals, overseeing the financial management of a diverse range of sponsored awards, and ensuring the organization's financial performance and funding utilization are in line with the sponsored research portfolio. The AVP will also be the subject matter expert for post-award financial compliance, leading audit preparation, and partnering with various stakeholders to ensure efficient administration of sponsored programs. Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and possess extensive knowledge of sponsored research administration and post-award financial management. Strong understanding of federal grant regulations, financial controls, and compliance standards is essential. The role requires the ability to lead large, complex teams, and initiatives, and to influence senior leaders. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills are necessary, as is experience with enterprise financial systems and grants administration tools. The AVP will be expected to develop and implement standardized post-award policies, procedures, and best practices, and to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational scalability.
