Vice President, Accounting & Financial Reporting Advisory

The Company is in search of a Vice President for its Accounting & Financial Reporting Advisory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and managing a variety of advisory engagements, including those related to buy-side, sell-side, capital raise, and restructuring transactions. This role involves close collaboration with private equity sponsors, corporate management teams, and other stakeholders on a range of accounting and financial reporting matters. Key responsibilities include leading client engagements, assessing and redesigning accounting processes, and providing high-quality client deliverables. The Vice President will also be involved in business development, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the growth of the practice. Applicants for the Vice President position should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, an active CPA certification, and a minimum of 6 years' professional experience. A background in a Big Four accounting firm, national accounting/advisory firm, or corporate accounting/controller function is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in transaction accounting advisory, controllership, or corporate accounting operations, with a strong understanding of M&A and capital markets concepts. Proficiency in U.S. GAAP, and experience in areas such as SEC reporting, IPO readiness, and financial instruments accounting, is highly valued. The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple engagements and mentor junior staff. Experience with data analytics tools is a plus.
