Applicants for the Chair position must have a terminal degree in a relevant discipline, a strong record of research and scholarly achievements, and sufficient experience to warrant a tenured appointment. The ideal candidate will have experience in academic administration and a proven track record of supporting student success through academic assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement. The role requires strong communication, decision-making, and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to manage departmental resources effectively and align initiatives with the priorities of the program, college, and institution.
