Associate General Counsel, Litigation Attorney

Greater New York City, NY Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel with a focus on employment law to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and counsel on a wide range of employment-related issues, including but not limited to, hiring, performance management, employee relations, terminations, leaves of absence, accommodations, wage and hour, internal investigations, and immigration matters. This role involves drafting and implementing workplace policies, managing outside counsel on employment disputes, and representing the company before various administrative agencies. The ideal candidate will have a JD, be admitted to the New York State Bar, and have at least four years of relevant experience. Applicants for the Associate General Counsel position at the company should possess superior written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a consultative approach to legal matters. The role requires a candidate with a strong attention to detail, a strategic focus, and the ability to spot and manage cross-functional risks. The Associate General Counsel will also be involved in monitoring employment-related legislation to ensure compliance, as well as drafting various employment agreements. The company values integrity, the ability to make independent decisions, and a proven track record of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
