The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel with a focus on Third-Party Capital and Strategic Transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel to the third-party capital management team, particularly in the areas of insurance-linked securities and collateralized reinsurance vehicles. This role involves advising on reinsurance-related aspects of strategic transactions, preparing and reviewing key documentation, and managing the outside counsel process. The Associate General Counsel will also be involved in the development of legal policies, undertaking legal research, and supporting time-sensitive, high-visibility projects that are integral to the company's strategic initiatives. Applicants must have a minimum of 6 years' of law firm experience at a top-tier firm or in-house with a major reinsurance or insurance company, with a preference for those with a background in financial services. The role requires a strong foundation in complex insurance, corporate, investment management, and reinsurance transactions, as well as experience in structured and bespoke insurance solutions, CAT Bonds, and ILS. The ideal candidate will be a member in good standing of a U.S. state bar association, with a proven track record of advising on complex matters and emergent events. Strong negotiating, organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential, as is a collaborative work style and a strong work ethic.
